Images from the World Cup 2023 league match between India and New Zealand at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell hit half-centuries to put New Zealand in control against India in the World Cup 2023 match in Dharamsala on Sunday.<\/p>\n The young Ravindra stroked a fine 65 from 76 balls, while Mitchell scored 68 from 60 balls as the duo put on 128 runs for the third wicket to guide New Zealand to 147\/2 in 30 overs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ravindra, who was dropped on 12 by Ravindra Jadeja and managed to overturn his dismissal twice using the review, entertained the fans with his superb strokeplay.<\/p>\n His partner Mitchell, who was put down by wicketkeeper KL Rahul off Jadeja, was severe on the spinners. He used his feet quite regularly to hit over the top, as he clubbed three sixes and as many fours .<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Earlier, India made a good start with the ball after electing to bowl.<\/p>\n Pacer Mohammed Siraj gave India the perfect start with the wicket of Devon Conway, who was caught by Shreyas Iyer for a duck in the fourth over.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mohammed Shami, playing his first match of the tournament, strike with his first ball of the game as he bowled Will Young off an inside edge for 17 as New Zealand struggled to 34\/2 in 10 overs.<\/p>\n Twice champions India left out an injured Hardik Pandya and fellow all-rounder Shardul Thakur bringing in batter Suryakumar Yadav and seamer Mohammed Shami.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n New Zealand, who are without regular skipper Kane Williamson, fielded the same team that beat Afghanistan in their previous match.<\/p>\n Both teams have won all four of their matches in the tournament so far.<\/p>\n\n
