Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has revealed she and ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair are no longer on speaking terms, following their split last year.
The former couple were together for 13 years and share three children; Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two.
In July last year, the pair parted ways and now Helen has revealed they only communicate through their parents.
Speaking to The Sun, the 33-year-old said the break-up was a “mutual decision” after living in an “unhappy” household.
“I felt as a mum that this was the best thing for my children,” she spilled.

“I want them to see healthy relationships and to be in healthy environments. I think if you’re unhappy then that projects on to them.”
Helen went on to say that while the pair still love each other, they “don’t like each other very much at the moment” but hopes they can make amends in the future.
For now, the actress said she is focusing on being the best mum to their three children following a brief romance shortly after Scott.
“I was seeing someone on and off for about six months, but it wasn’t right,” she spilled.

“It was probably a bit soon after Scott. I’m really attracted to manly men who are older and understand I’m a mum. I tend to go for 40 or older.
“But most of all, he needs to be a decent, good person.”
Helen went on to say whoever does eventually steal her heart again will stay separate from her children for a while.
The actress and Bristols Rover footballer started dating back in 2009.
During a holiday in Disneyland Paris nine years later, Scott got down on one knee and popped the question.
Speaking to Express.co.uk in 2020, Helen explained why they had decided to postpone their wedding.
She spilled: “Me and Scott have been together for 10 years, since forever.
“I know this sounds weird but, because we’ve got children and have been together for so long, we already feel like we’e married.
“We were going to get married this year but my little sister is getting married next summer, so maybe next year.
“I think it’s just because we’ve been together for so long, we’re just a bit lazy about.
“But, it would be nice to have the same name.”
