Hugh Jackman announces he has tested positive for Covid-19
Hollywood star Hugh Jackman’s marriage to fellow Australian actress and producer Deborra-Lee Furness was impacted negatively by the COVID lockdown, it has been reported.
Moreover, the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes worsened things for the couple, an insider claims.
The source told the Daily Mail how the couple were “forever linked” by the two children they share, however, the relationship had broken down.
They told the outlet: “But after the past few years, the love they had for each other turned more into a friendship which got broken during COVID, as the lockdown didn’t help their marriage at all and really put a strain on their relationship.”
Jackman, 54, and Furness, 67, are said to have tried to work on their marriage but “couldn’t get it back”.

The source claimed The Greatest Showman star found the Hollywood strikes had led to the “same predicament” as COVID and the couple no longer had the “same magic as they once had”.
The Hollywood couple issued a statement to People confirming the end of their marriage: “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
