A new video shared by Quavo for “Galaxy,” the fourth song from his recent album, Rocket Power, shows the rapper going on a tour of the Dominion Republic.
In the visual directed by Keemotion, Quavo goes on a date on the island, cuts into a coconut with a machete, and plays football with kids.
“We twenty deep on the island / Missing my blood, my dog, my flesh (flesh) / Workin’ my one, just vibin’ / Never let the next man know what’s next (no) / Backend come to my nest Lil’ bad b*tch wanna be a part of my flex,” Quavo raps in the first verse.
“Galaxy” follows Quavo’s earlier release “Hold Me,” in which he was seen attending a memorial service for Takeoff, his late Migos bandmate.
Earlier this year, at the time of announcing Rocket Power, Quavo described the record as “my therapy” following the death of Takeoff.
“This album is a true reflection of how I feel right now,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “Sometimes I’m good, sometimes I’m down, sometimes I’m disappointed, sometimes I fall apart, but then I ALWAYS find my strength again. I know everything might not be alright right now, but the Rocket showed me a way to make it RIGHT!
“Rocket Power keeps me going. Rocket Power gives me fuel. Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through,” he added.
