Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has been inundated with messages from fans who have urged her to “take care” in the freezing temperatures that have hit Ravenseat. Alongside new pictures on Instagram at the weekend, Amanda, 49, revealed there was a “proper wintery feel” as temperatures had plummeted to -10°C.

Refusing to let the chill ruin their days however, the presenter and her children wrapped up to embrace the snow as they fulfilled duties and played outside. Many of Amanda’s 536,000 followers flocked to her post to share their comments.

One wrote: “My goodness, that’s cold. Take care, I hope and all the farm come through unscathed.” A second added: “Wow that’s cold, stay safe.” A third typed: “WOW. You All keep safe and warm x Lovely photo,” while a fourth commented: “Stay warm and safe.”

Ahead of her latest update, Amanda revealed they had to “batten down the hatches” due to Storm Ciaran, but that the poor weather wouldn’t stop them from working. Such conditions, she added, included “a whole week of rain, wind and plenty of mud”.

The mother-of-nine’s posts come after reports claimed she is plotting a television comeback following the end of Our Yorkshire Farm last year. According to The Sun, a source said she will front Channel 4 show Our Farm Next Door alongside her estranged husband Clive Owen.

Clive and their son Reuben went on to front spin-off series Beyond The Yorkshire Farm, which focused on their own business endeavours. News of the show came after Amanda and Clive, who married back in 2000, announced they had decided to split in a joint statement. They wrote: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children.”
