Maya Jama and Stormzy became embroiled in a rather public heated row, just moments after they landed in Los Angeles.
The recently reunited couple confirmed their romance during a luxurious holiday in Greece over the summer, but it seems that now the honeymoon period may be coming to an end.
After landing in LA, where Stormzy is reportedly filming a new music video, the pair were photographed looking rather annoyed with one another.
Maya, who donned some flower-patterned white jeans and black vest top, could be seen stood with her arms crossed, while Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, appeared to be waving his arms around.
Another photo saw the pair holding hands following the bust-up, with Maya appearing to look a bit teary.
An onlooker told The Sun: "Stormzy was raising his voice and waving his hands around for a good ten minutes. Maya looked really unimpressed and kept her arms crossed.
At one point she seemed a little bit teary and eventually Stormzy went over and put his arm over her shoulders. They had a quick hug and then walked off but Maya looked pretty upset."
OK! have contacted representatives for Maya Jama and Stormzy for comment.
Maya and Stormzy previously dated from 2015 to 2019 before splitting, but four years later have now rekindled their romance, with Stormzy even revealing that he hopes to have a child in the near future.
A recent grand romantic gesture saw the rapper fly Maya out in a private helicopter to Hydra Island, where the pair stayed in a private villa with a private chef and spectacular views overlooking the sparkling Aegean Sea.
After meeting in 2014, Maya admitted that she "fancied him from the start."
They became a popular power couple, with Stormzy regularly declaring his love for her in his music.
"We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers," Maya told The Sunday Times in January. "I was starting at MTV. He’d not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies."
After their split, Stormzy always denied that he ever cheated, but did admit to disrespecting Maya and their relationship.
Last year, the Croydon-born star opened up to the BBC’s Louis Theroux, accepting responsibility for his "mistakes".
"I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate, love, and care for his woman," he said. "I learnt from that, and OK, if I don’t ever want to feel like that again, and I feel like God will bless me with an amazing woman and a family and marriage and all of that, I have to do all of the necessary work to never be in that situation again."
